Arlington National Cemetery

Arlington is a very special place. It’s absolutely huge (over 600 acres) and acts as the final resting place for soldiers who have given up their lives in battle for their country. There’s a lot of history here, a lot of somber remembrance, and a lot of gratitude. I cannot recommend a tour enough to make sure you can really appreciate the sacrifices that have been made for our country and for the beautiful ways that Arlington preserves their memory. Make sure you wear walking shoes, and bring water—the tour requires quite a bit of walking.
