The National Mall

I also considered listing out each monument on the National Mall as its own thing, but I’m lazy so I’m just going to tell you that no matter what you do, you need to spend a few hours wandering through the Mall and seeing the incredible monuments surrounding the reflecting pool. Must-sees (among many others) include the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, Korean War Veterans Memorial, World War II Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
